A Taste of Turkey: Exploring 7 Regions at One Table

We are embarking on a journey to discover the diverse flavors of Turkey. With seven distinct geographical regions, each with its own unique produce, we are in for a treat. From the Mediterranean Region comes the special orange, while the most special legume is found in the Black Sea Region. These flavors complement each other perfectly, creating a puzzle-like spread that showcases the best of Turkish cuisine.

To share this culinary experience with others, we are setting up an unforgettable table in Istanbul. Bringing together the seven regions of Turkey, we will showcase the delicacies of our culture and share them from one heart to another.

What are we doing?

Our journey begins at the historic Üsküdar Fishermen’s Market. Here, we explore the fishmongers, greengrocers, Turkish delight shops, candy stalls, pickle vendors, and coffee houses that have been operating for over a century. With a friendly greeting of “Hello!” at every shop, we leave with shopping bags filled with ingredients for seven recipes from across Turkey.

Next, we visit the Orange Tree Studio, where the talented team has been experimenting with thousands of recipes from all over the world, with a special focus on Turkish cuisine. With 20 years of experience, Orange Tree and her team promise an unforgettable day of discovery and deliciousness.
